In an effort to help the thorough blog reader check his or her sources, here is some background information on the site’s primary authors.

Gsauls4 — A 25 year-old weightlifting enthusiast and former college recruit for both baseball and soccer, staying in shape has always been important to me. While I do not possess personal trainer certification (which any John Doe can get for $50 bucks nowadays - so don’t be fooled), my fitness pursuit has led me to take college-level classes in both exercise physiology and nutrition. As a competitive athlete, I have experienced a number of different weightlifting regimens, supplements, and nutrition plans all designed to help me build a faster and stronger body.

Ebones — A 25 year-old avid runner and former Division 1 collegiate athlete in cross country, she has taken her fitness pursuit to the streets of Boston, recently completing the 2008 Boston Marathon in a time of 3:22:08. Aside from endurance training, Ebones can also provide an educated female perspective into the worlds of weightlifting and nutrition. With her masters degree in physical therapy and role as a practicing PT at one of Boston’s top hospitals, she is a fantastic source for injury prevention and treatment information.

Together, we hope to share our experiences, information and tips to help you build a better body in a safe, educated and effective way.
